Boys Basketball Partners with Shoes4theShoeless
Shoes4theShoeless Partnership
The boys basketball program has partnered with Shoes4theShoeless, which is a nonprofit organization in the Miami Valley that provides brand new socks and shoes for under privileged children. Our players will be collecting socks, ANY brand new socks for children ages 5 and up during the week of Sunday January 27th to Sunday February 3rd. We will have a table at all the home basketball games that week collecting sock donations. Our goal is to collect 1000 pairs!
Our players then will be a part of a delivery of shoes and socks to children at Rosa Parks Elementary on February 6th.
Collection Schedule:
Sunday 1/27 - during Waynesville Youth Basketball games
Tuesday 1/29 - Boys Home game vs. Monroe
Thursday 1/31 - Girls Home game vs. Milton-Union
Friday 2/1 - Boys Home game vs. Dixie
Sunday 2/3 - during Waynesville Youth Basketball games
