Update:  September 26th

Last Friday night, the Spartans rumbled with the Eaton Eagles on the road. The Spartans came out firing in the first half with touchdowns from Joe Stone, Trent Davis, and Alex Amburgy. The defense was also nothing to gawk at only allowing one touchdown bringing the score to 21-7 by halftime. The second half the Spartans played extremely hard however, they didn’t fare too well letting up three touchdowns and a field goal.  The game was extremely close with a final score of 21-31 resulting in Eaton winning the ball game.

Update:  September 12th

Last Friday night, the Spartans ran roughshod over the Blanchester Wildcats at home. The Spartans put on an impressive offensive display putting up six touchdowns and a field goal. On the other side of the ball, the defense put on a clinic pulling out a shutout on the Wildcats. All of this culminated to a final score of 45-0.  Way to go Spartans!

Update:  September 2nd

Last week in their game against Greenview the Spartans put up a valiant effort against the Rams. The Spartan’s showed off the sheer tenacity of the offense due in part by a sensational game by our quarterback Blaise Sizer who threw for 311 yards, tallying three touchdowns, and scored with a run himself. This wouldn’t prove to be enough however, ultimately succumbing to the Rams losing by a touchdown in the 4th quarter with a final score of 35-38.

Tonight at 7pm they will take on Blanchester at home. We will be honoring on veterans and military members.  Admission is free to all who have served or are currently serving.
