Thursday Night Lights

Following their win last Thursday night at Northridge, the Waynesville High School Football team has clinched at least a share of the SWBL Buckeye Division Title as well as a playoff berth!   Following this Friday night’s home game (11/1) vs. Madison, Waynesville will play Saturday, November 9th at 7pm. The location and opponent remain TBD following the release of seeding and playoff brackets at 2:00pm this Sunday (11/3).

With a final score of 23-8, the Waynesville Spartans football team take the win over Northridge at last night's Thursday Night Lights game of the week.

Wayne Local Schools will be a part of Thursday Night Lights 2019 in the Miami Valley. Waynesville High School was selected as the Team of the Week for Week 9 versus Northridge and the game will be broadcast LIVE!!  See below for viewing directions.

During the pre-game and half-time, there will be live broadcast interviews, as well as recognition of the Scholar Athlete of the Week, a message from our Superintendent Pat Dubbs, and a live post-game trophy presentation following the match-up.

Timeline:

Thursday morning at 6:45AM - Live broadcast with on the field for tonight's game
5:45pm Scholar Athlete of the Week presentation
6:30pm Announcers' pre-game
7:06pm Kickoff
End of 1st half, Halftime, and End of 2nd half ... keep watching since there will be sideline interviews, coaches interviews, and a message from Superintendent Pat Dubbs.
