Waynesville Swimming Update

Last Friday and Saturday, the girls and boys swim team participated at their sectional meet at the Washington Rec Center. Overall, both of the teams did very well and ended up placing in the top 10 in nearly every event they participated in. The following swimmers qualified to move onto districts at Miami University today and Saturday:
Carson Blevins, Ben Campbell, Ryan Eshler, Connor Huffman, Grant Kazmierski, Ryan Leopold, Kate Matt, Robbie Myers, Jordan Patterson, David Weaver, Gabe Wooldridge, and Noah Wooldridge.

Last Friday night the swim team competed in the league meet at Trotwood Madison. Overall, the girls finished 5th and the boys finished 6th as a team. They had many PR’s through the night and are looking forward to sectionals at Washington Twp. pool this weekend.

The swim team competed at the Xenia Sprints Meet Thursday evening. They had a very successful meet. They will compete again this weekend at the Princeton Invitational.
