8th Grade Washington D.C. and Gettsburg Trip

Waynesville 8th Grade students had a wonderful trip to Washington D.C. and Gettsyburg. Students traveled to Gettysburg PA to tour the battlefields before heading to Washington, D. C. The students toured the U. S. Capitol Building, Fords Theatre, Washington National Cathedral, Arlington National Cemetery, Smithsonian Museum, and many more museums and memorials. Four of our students were part of the wreath laying ceremony yesterday. They were: Dillon Kirk, Delaney Snook, Natalie Hite, and Claira Crouse. What an educational and amazing experience for the 8th grade students!
