What a fantastic night in Waynesville! Thank you to all the parents, teachers, judges, and sponsors who encouraged this next generation of talented students to participate in the S.T.E.M. Fair.
All of the projects were noteworthy, and we appreciated this opportunity to be a part of your extraordinary community.
Congratulations to the winners: Milo Moffitt, Joshua Marks Ryan Palmer Jonah Palmer Alanna Morales.
The Student Choice Award winners: Alex Mills and Nick Johnson
The challenge is to build an original game, gadget, or model from everyday materials like cardboard, duct tape, and recyclables. Students can work individually or on teams up to 4 members.
Bring finished creations to this special event where classmates share projects and ideas. This opportunity fosters creative thinking, confidence, and originality in hands-on learners while they learn control, make mistakes, and perfect skills; where students apply S.T.E.A.M. so they can fix, make, build, and change the world.
Professional engineers, designers, and builders review projects with students and encourage our next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
Winners are announced at a special ceremony during the event. Prizes will be awarded based on merit, competition guidelines, & general grade levels.
