THANK YOU National Honor Society and High School Volunteer Students!
Did you know that the there is a group of high school students who give of their time after school to tutor students in grades 2 through 5 on reading strategies that will help them become more successful in their classrooms?
The student volunteers work with these younger students to help them develop good habits and better reading strategies. Additionally, the older students aide in developing positive, nurturing relationships with the younger students, which helps the younger students interact and grow together in their classroom environments.
These reflections, as shared by Tracy Reeves, ESL Tutor, can be read in full in the Good News Friday article. Click the link below to be taken directly to this edition of GNF.
