We’ve got exciting news! INFOhio has licensed Science Online and renewed videos in INFOhio’s Digital Video Collection (DVC) for all Ohio PreK-12 students, their parents, and their teachers to use, at no cost to schools.
Ohio’s PreK-12 use of Science Online, formerly part of the Libraries Connect Ohio collection, has steadily increased during the last three years. As science and math teachers have come to rely on this resource, INFOhio will continue the subscription to Science Online for the PreK-12 community through June 30, 2020. Science Online includes resources on more than 2,500 science, technology, and math topics, updated monthly, that support Ohio’s Learning Standards and STEM initiatives.
The Digital Video Collection (DVC) is INFOhio’s collection of streaming educational titles that support Ohio’s Learning Standards in nearly all subjects and grade levels. Popular DVC series include Bill Nye the Science Guy and Eyes of Nye. Many of the videos renewed include guides with assessments, lesson plans, activities, video scripts, and Spanish language translations. DVC playlists make it easy for educators in any content area to find collections of videos for use in the classroom or at home.
