Mock Car Crash Scheduled for April 20th
On Thursday, April 20th, at 11:30 am, the WHS chapter of SADD will stage a mock car crash at Spartan Community Fields in partnership with Waynesville Police, Wayne Township Fire, Miami Valley CareFlight and Stubbs-Conner Funeral Services.
We wanted to let our community know ahead of time to alleviate any concerns about seeing these agencies on site at WHS on Thursday. This event is open to the public, and community members are welcome to attend.
WHS conducts the mock car crash to reinforce the importance of making good decisions, whether students are behind the wheel or riding as passengers. Those decisions include wearing seat belts, obeying speed limits, refraining from texting while driving, and abstaining from drinking and driving.
The WHS Prom is on April 22nd. We would like all of our students to make responsible choices along with great memories.
