151 Boxes Total

Middle School Student Council members stayed after school on Wednesday of this week to assemble boxes using donations that were brought in school-wide.

Join Wayne Local Schools and help out with Operation Christmas Child!  Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities.  They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease;  and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

Help out with four simple steps:

   1.   Find a shoe box (official boxes are available in the High School or Middle School offices but any shoe box will be suitable)

   2. Label if it's for a girl or boy and what age

   3. Fill with gifts (toys, coloring books, new hygiene products)

   4. Drop the shoe box off to the Waynesville HS or MS Office
