Quadrilateral Cities in 3rd Grade Math

Our 3rd grade Math classes used their knowledge of quadrilaterals to create their own “Quadrilateral Cities” that include restaurants, retail shops, a hotel, city hall, library, post office, and a park designed using nothing other than quadrilaterals of course! We even had a partial dog park that had some dogs that were shaped like quadrilaterals. Each group presented their cities to their class, and several plan to reach out to our Village Mayor to volunteer their expertise in all things quadrilaterals in the event he would like to redesign the village!
