All students grades 6-12 will receive Suicide Prevention Education on November 28, 2018. Students will view a WHS student made prevention video which will be followed by a brief discussion surrounding the content of the video. The video content includes red flag behaviors, suicide statistics among teens, how to talk to someone who might be having suicidal thoughts, and how to get that person help. The script was adapted from information gathered from the Mayo Clinic and the Suicide Prevention Life Line. Two students from the Teen Alliance Council of Warren County are featured in this video along with 6 of their classmates.

This video is true and honest and stresses the importance of asking the hard question. If you do not wish your child to participate in this year’s Suicide Prevention Education please fill out the bottom of this form and return it before November 28th.
