Each girl played 3 heartfelt matches, revealing their desire to win individually as well as collaboratively within the doubles matches.

Katelyn Abney- Second Singles, won 2 out of 3 matches for the day, placing 4th in the league.

Varsity Girls Tennis: A sensational Senior Night!
The girls’ varsity tennis team hosted the Lebanon Warriors Monday night, 9/18/17. This was our senior night for two seniors: Morgan Achard and Roslynn Papetti. These two young ladies as well as their teammates played a wonderful match against the warriors. Playing first singles- Roslynn Papetti, and second singles- Katelyn Abney both bringing home wins for Waynesville. Our two doubles teams- Morgan Achard/ Hannah Selk, Jade Buckland/ Emery Siders, both these doubles teams played extremely hard, falling short to a tough loss to the warriors. I am very proud of each and every one of these young ladies.
We would also like to recognize our amazing parents. The families provided a delicious nacho bar and dessert table for both teams to eat and socialize after the match. It was wonderful to see the both teams of girls, and parents enjoying food and fun.
Congratulations to our two seniors and the entire tennis team. Go Spartans!
