Waynesville Musicians Perform at DisneyWorld
Members of the Waynesville Band and Choir Programs traveled to Orlando, Florida, where they became honorary cast members at Walt Disney World. Both groups started the trip with a workshop led by a Disney Cast Member, learning about the process of being a professional who records music to be used in films. It was a wonderful experience! The choir then performed on the Main Stage at Disney Springs, entertaining guests as they strolled throughout the venue. The Spartan Marching Band finished the trip with a parade performance through the Magic Kingdom, passing directly in front of Cinderella’s Castle and continuing up Main Street, USA. It was a truly MAGICAL experience for all who attended! Thank you to the band and choir parents who joined us as chaperones for the trip!
