Junior Matt Ellis has qualified for this weekend's OHSAA State Wrestling Championships. Matt placed 2nd at last week's Division 2 District meet and will represent Waynesville this weekend in Columbus. Matt is currently 29-1 and will be wrestling Te`Andre Allen (25-1) from Orange High School in his first-round match.
On the mats this past week, Matt Ellis placed 1st at the Div. 2 Sectional Wrestling Tournament. Also, Senior Levi Morgan earned a 3rd place title!
They wrestle again for Districts on Thursday at Wilmington High School. Good Luck!
