Building Evacuation

The high school and middle school buildings experienced a community power outage originating from a transformer in the community. When the power returned, the fire alarms were triggered, and the school systems needed to be rebooted manually.
The buildings remained evacuated until all systems were restored and Wayne Township Fire Department had provided clearance to return to the buildings.
Safety was our priority and daily routines have resumed.
