On Monday, January 30th, our elementary school was recognized as the 400th LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified school in the state of Ohio. The United States Green Building Council presented a commemorative plaque to recognize the achievement. Board Member Dr. Jim Byers, Elementary Principal Anna Garafolo, and Superintendent Dr. Sam Ison were on hand to accept the award. The elementary received a "Gold" certification.
