Baccalaureate - A Celebration of Faith and Blessing for the Class of 2021 and their families

The Amphitheater
(First Baptist Church is the rain location at the same time and day)
Please bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating at the amphitheater. Graduates may begin arriving for Baccalaureate at 4:30 and park in the parking lot near the bus garage to be staged for the parade. Each graduate will be assigned a parking spot for the parade. Vehicles not participating in the parade are encouraged to park at the middle school or the park. Graduates will be dismissed from Baccalaureate in plenty of time to participate in the parade. Dress for Baccalaureate is semi-formal (bring cap and gown for the parade after Baccalaureate).

May 7 Senior Drive In at 7AM @ Waynesville First Baptist Church (be there at 6:45AM)
May 11 Honors Assembly 9:00 A.M. Do not need to wear cap and gown
May 11 Senior Scholarship Awards Program – 6:00 P.M. – This evening we will hand out all scholarships and awards for seniors. Please be on time and dress appropriately- you do not wear your cap and gown for this program.
May 14 Senior Signs will be placed in the front lawn of the Middle School for a week
May 17 & 18 Senior Exams
May 19 WCCC Senior Awards Ceremony – 7:00 P.M. At Wright State University WCCC Graduates need to be there at 5:30 P.M.
May 21 Senior Weekend!
Commencement Practice – 1:00 P.M. – MANDATORY –meet in H.S. Gym.
Seniors must be at this practice to walk at graduation and must wear gowns. ALL outstanding fees must be paid. Final check of senior grades.
Walk through Elementary Building before practice starts at 1:10PM
Pick up signs and “Adopt a Senior” Basket after graduation practice

6:00PM Senior Parade (more detailed information to come) Seniors will be assigned a parking spot (alpha) by the transportation garage and will arrive starting at 5PM. Only 1 senior per vehicle- wearing cap & gown.
May 22 GRADUATION!!!! – 7:00P.M. Seniors need to be at WHS no later than 6:15 and report to the first floor of the high school.
Seniors must wear cap and gown! NO JEANS OR TENNIS SHOES. Gowns will be collected at the end of the ceremony prior to receiving the actual diploma.
Because of the possibility of bad weather, a decision will be made around 5:30PM on Saturday, May 22. Please be sure you are on “Remind” and/or Final Forms. Face masks must be worn during the ceremony. If no “remind” is sent, then we are a go for 7PM
May 23 2PM Rain date for Graduation is Sunday, May 23
May 29 Alumni Banquet- To be announced
