Congratulations to Eryn Barrett, Rachel Ingle, Makayla Kamp, Kylie Kazmierski, Grant Kazmierski, Megan Spencer, and Ashley Tudela for passing the Seal of Biliteracy.

Passing the Seal of Biliteracy means that these seven students are proficient in two languages.  They are not only bilingual, they are bi-literate which means they are able to read, write, speak and understand Spanish at a proficient level.  It takes dedication, hard work, taking upper level Spanish courses where they are fully immersed in Spanish, and the love of learning Spanish to pass this difficult test.  Students in Spanish IV and V are given the opportunity to test every year in April. The foreign language department hopes these seven students will motivate many more to challenge themselves and continue learning and taking upper level foreign languages classes during their high school career.
