The Waynesville Way recently received the “Emerging Organization Community Service Award” from the Warren County Foundation.  Mrs. Anna Garafolo, Elementary Principal and Coordinator of The Waynesville Way, was recognized and accepted the award on behalf of Wayne Local Schools and the numerous groups, organizations, businesses, families and community members.

Thank you to the Warren County Foundation for all their philanthropic efforts and impact that they have in this great county we live in. Thank you to the Warren County Foundation for recognizing the Waynesville Way Initiative and its efforts. The Waynesville Way is not just a group or organization, but also a culture or way of ‘being’ in Waynesville. It is the back to basics ideals where adults, teens, and children are all engaged for the support and betterment of one another. The five guiding principles of the Waynesville Way are: Expressing Care, Challenge Growth, Provide Support, Share Power, and Expand Possibilities.
