Dear Spartan Families,

We commend all of you for pushing through these unusual circumstances and continuing to make the most of our academics and athletics. We take great pride in our Spartan athletic teams and their families. Our students’ academic success and athletic development remain our focus. The next challenge upon us is that Warren County is currently RED with a Star. We have no indication of ‘if’ or ‘when’ we will go PURPLE.  But, once we go PURPLE, the school district will implement key mitigation strategies to reduce transmission of the virus that causes COVID-19.  Starting the next day, students will be remote academically, and our Spartan Athletics will be halted until the county drops to a lower advisory level.  There will be no practices, no scrimmages, and no competitions.

For months now, we have faced this opponent that wore no uniform.  As a community, we continue to take on this opponent, moving forward cautiously, responsibly, and with preparation and determination. What we have learned thus far is that our student athletes have proven themselves to be strong and resilient.

Together, we will be here to support one another.  As we prioritize the health and safety of our athletes, coaches, and their families, we will continue to evaluate the situation in the coming weeks and communicate with our families as any changes do arise.
