Wayne Local School District would like to recognize the hard-working members of our Waynesville Police Department and their predecessors, as well as our local School Resource Officer, Officer Mermann.

About: National Peace Officers Memorial Day, also called National Police Week, pay tribute to the local, state, and federal peace officers who have died, or who have been disabled, in the line of duty. Since the original proclamation by President Kennedy in 1962, it has been recognized every year on May 15th.
