Prescription Drug Take Back Day

LCNB, Waynesville Police Department, and Wayne Local Schools are sponsoring a Shred Day along with Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The event will be April 27th from 10 am-2pm and will be held in the parking lot  in front of the Middle School Building. 

Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs. IF you cant make this event remember there are two locations in Waynesville you can dispose of your expired or unused prescription drugs. You can drop of items at either The Waynesville Police Department or the Waynesville Pharmacy during normal business hours. 

Guidelines for Proper Disposal of Unused Medications

Shredding your own sensitive information, keeping confidential information secure is essential. Holding on to documents you no longer need which aren't kept in a secure area can pose a threat to your identity and can cause a data breach. Items such as tax returns (3 years or older) Photo IDs, Bank statements, Voided checks, Employee pay stubs, Credit card information, Copies of sales receipts, Documents containing sensitive information such as name, address, phone number or email.
