Wayne Local Schools VLA Family Support Sessions
Need someone to help guide you and your child through the VLA process? Need internet acess? Need a quiet, yet guided study hall session? We have you covered. Please see the following schedule for support.
We have a dedicated classroom to support our VLA families, room 34 in the 1915 building of Waynesville Elementary School. It will be supported by Wayne Local School teachers. Choose a day and time that works best for you.
Mondays:
- 1-3:30pm (K-8 focus)
- 5-7 pm (Foreign Language 6-12 focus)
Tuesdays:
- 7:30-9 am (K-8 focus)
Wednesdays:
- 7:30-9 am (K-8 focus)
- 1-3:30pm (K-8 focus)
- 6-7:30 pm (K-5 focus)
Fridays:
- 1-3:30pm (K-8 focus)
Use the "VLA Family Support Sessions" form to sign up for a session through your Google Classroom. Appointments must be scheduled to allow for social distancing during the sessions.
**Bring your device and mask. Meet outside of the D-6 doors of WES. Sessions begin on September 21st.
Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) Orientation

VLA SUPPORT SESSIONS AVAILABLE NEXT WEEK ON CAMPUS:
If you are enrolled in Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) and need hands-on assistance, Wayne Local Schools will have VLA Support Sessions on the following evenings in the Middle School Spartan Room. Please bring a Chromebook or laptop and wear a mask. Please enter at the corner of the high school/middle school where the Spartan Room/Media center is located.
A parent and/or student may come anytime between:
Wednesday, September 16th or Thursday, September 17th
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
