Now that the footers have been poured and set, the next step is to lay the foundations for Electrical and Plumbing. The contractors will revisit both electrical and plumbing several times before the project is complete because both pieces require future work once the structure is in place.
1. Plumbing waste – Your plumbing subcontractor should start with laying out the gas line and plumbing waste lines. This includes the sewer, venting, and drain lines.
2. Plumbing supply – Adding the supply lines will allow the plumbing contractor to run hot and cold lines to all the areas where needed.
3. Electrical – Electrical contractors will layout the plan for wiring, switches, light fixtures, and outlets.
